Lovely restaurant with a great selection of European wines. The ambience in here is so romantic. We were a group of 6 and got the chefs menu. Entrees were all delicious. Our favourite were the mushroom skewers! The sourdough bread was super soft and fluffy also interesting round shape from being baked in a paella pan. Desserts also blew us away the grapefruit sorbet was chefs kiss. Service was lovely! Would definitely come back
My partner and I came here for the first time two weeks ago and we came back the next week with four more friends. The food was delicious. Service was attentive. Cocktails and Mocktails were delicious. I couldn’t fault anything. We’ve tried almost everything from their menu now and everything was delicious. Tapas were on point The pickled Cabbage salad pairs well with the meaty mains. The fermented chilli butter prawns are perfectly cooked with a slight char. My partner normally isn’t a Croquette kinda person and unlucky for me he really enjoyed it so I didn’t get his share.
Anada has a special place in my heart. I’ve been to many Spanish restaurants and this one continuously tops them all. Every single tapas is well thought out and cannot be missed. Their new dessert churros with chocolate mouse is simply genius.
Good food and wine list. A little bit pricey but good for meeting friend and family. Staff are very friendly and service are fantastic. Will definitely come back.
What a hidden gem! Cozy place. Reservation is a must. Everything we ordered were seasoned perfectly. Ordered more than you think as the dishes are simply delicious and are for sharing.
It was a small cute restaurant with a nice ambiance and good service. The entrees were amazing but the main courses were just ok and a bit overpriced for what it was. Had a nice experience in good company nonetheless.
Anada - Bone marrow, Wagyu cecina, Pedro Ximenez $10ea - 120-day aged CooperTree Farms vintage dairy cow sirloin 500g, chargrilled with anchovy & tarragon butter $70 - Paella of Seafood with dory, pipis, king prawns, lobster Broth & saffron $55 Found this lovely Spanish restaurant on Gertrude Street recently and I highly recommend you all to visit them. I could not fault anything I had that night. The bone barrow tapas is a must try. Saltiness from the wagyu cecina paired with the umami from the bone marrow, balanced with the sweetness of the carmalised onion and combined with the crunchiness of the bread! Chef kiss I fell in love with it immediately! The paella was packed flavours and served with fresh seafood. That steak was beautifully cooked and charred. Yummmm. It was such an amazing meal! Will definitely come back for more amazing Spanish food!
Service was delightful. The waiter may need a teeny bit of upskilling in their wine pairing knowledge, but they could also just have had a brain fog moment. Delicious food. But I do wish the yummo potatoes weren't all covered with the hot sauce. Unedible for me. Everything else amazing. Will definitely be returning. 100%
What a find! A little gem found on Gertrude Street, you will fall in love with the intimate decor, friendly staff and delicious food. Service is wonderful here, the staff are super knowledgeable and welcoming. Our most favorite was the Tuna Tartar and the Lamb Neck - do NOT omit ordering them - so good and well portioned. We were indeed stuffed by the time we were done. Oh - the dessert we had was to die for as well. Can’t wait to return for their next menu!
We've been coming here since opening day fourteen years ago. Set menu or a la carte, inside or out, at the bar, a table or the communal bench - never been disappointed. Old favourites remain but there's enough change to keep it interesting. Staff invariably engaged and helpful. Smart wine list, leaning Spanish as you'd expect. And the food is pretty-much flawless.
