First if all very rude staff. Came to the melville anaconda, brought a HH jacket and accidentally paid with my visa gift card that I got for my birthday when I wanted to pay with my anaconda gift card that I had instead. They refused to give me my refund back in my visa gift card so I can pay straight away to buy the jacket anyways, so I wasn’t refunding it technically. I didn’t even want to refund my purchase. It was just a simple transaction swap. Very very disappointed and will never shop here again.
I went there today, I liked the shop. There is a lot of variety, reasonable prices, and good specials. However, my shopping experience was ruined, when the Asian girl with coloured contacts in the cash register gave us an attitude; she obviously hates dealing with people and made us feel like we were stupid. I think you need a better system to select your employees. What could be a 5 star review, it is a one star only because of one person. All the effort of a team went to the trash.
Appalling service. Confusing pricing which I suspect is deliberate and unethical. Better off going to BCF. Wasted a lot of time. An example is Planko tackle box that had same code but different prices. Was told one price on a gazebo only to be told by another staff member it was $100 more. Finished my shopping at BCF.
Received fantastic service recently 4/1/23 about 2pm when returning multiple items purchased online that were not suitable sizes.nThe gent serving me checked several times with their line manager in order to be able to provide a refund rather than a credit.nI'll be sure to spend the refund in this store, they are all a great team. Really enjoy shopping at Anaconda.
Great outdoor essentials, plus lots of toys. Brought a big Coleman esky on wheels for a roadtrip north
