"Many of Sydney’s restaurants have heavily Italian influenced menus, but it’s hard to know where to find the kind of food Nona would approve of. We are talking plentiful helpings of handmade lasagne, gnocchi, authentic Italian pizza, calzone and focaccias along with flavourful prosciutto, mozzarella, juicy olives and fresh seafood. These classic, affordable red-sauce and pizza places are getting harder to find – but there’s a brand-new kid on the block that is guaranteed to have the Sydney CBD buzzing – Amore Ristorante. The two Italian born and trained restauranteurs behind Amore have great credentials having honed their skills in Italy before working at the local Italian dining institutions of Sydney."

Nice and quiet place for catch up, authentic Italian food right in the heart of the city. Very friendly staffs and yummy food, as my friend is vegetarian it is a little hard to find nice food in the city. Love the vegetarian options of this place, highly recommended! Did I forgot to mention the serves are generous and great value for money?
Wow! This place is a hidden gem in the city. My partner and I were beyond thrilled with the service, presentation and tastes from that night. We ordered pizza, a cured meat and cheese platter to share and some pasta. It was to die for! Seriously if you're reading this now go there. You will not regret it. We've been twice and each time felt the same way. I recommend the white pizza with truffle oil and ham, the pasta with lamb, and the entire desert menu. Thank you guys, you made a fantastic place.
First time my nan and I had tried calzone. It was beautiful and the chips were the best we had both ever had! They were so fresh and filling. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back next time we are in Sydney. Thank you for a beautiful well priced meal!
The place is quite new so it wasn't very busy at lunchtime during the week. Both owners and staff is Italian. The pizza was really nice even if there are better places in Sydney but it was much better than the average pizzeria. Great and quick service. Loved it!
Awful food and service. Waiter couldn't be bothered to hear what we wanted to order before taking the menu from our hands. Garlic bread ordered a a starter arrived after the main course. The "mushroom" sauce on the steak was gravy with mushroom slices, and we didn't even get a serving spoon for the vegetables. Avoid at all costs as its poor value for money, poor staff and poor food.
Amore Ristorante is a hidden gem in the heart of the city . Only a couple of minutes walk from Town Hall train station and just around the corner from the theatre . Authentic Italian cuisine . Very reasonable prices and big servings . Staff are very friendly and helpfull . Best pizza and pasta so delicious . Also have steak , chicken and seafood options . The desserts are a must also . I have waten there quite a few times and the meals and service is what keeps coming back . Get in there everyone and give it a try as you will not be dissapointed .
A casual dining place which has its way through a bar and a casino. The staff is kind and polite. Food up to the mark Italian. Pizza was good but the fish stands out!! Basa fish a must try out here.
Pre theatre lunch. Best Italian food. It’s in Club99 On York and only recently started. We called in Saturday prior to Lyric Theatre. The owner was great, very friendly and the extensive menu was excellent. The service was quick and the food beautifully cooked and presented. Very reasonable prices and even cheaper if aClub member. Very convenient near QVB and buses. The owners make it a very enjoyable experience. David
We were disappointed with 2/3 of our dishes. The arancini seemed frozen and the spaghetti Bolognese wasnt the most flavorsome meat also seemed frozen. They seem to be popular for pizzas but I wouldn't comeback with my partner.
Sono rimasta contentissima! I am so happy and satisfied! I honestly am not being bias, it was my first time here and I could'nt be happier. Reasonable prices, food full of flavour thanks to great authentic italian chefs, great service, food served smoking hot. We even got a free salad vaild untill 9/dec/2018. I highly recommend this place!! And its a 2-5min walk from the QVB and 10min from Townhall station.
