Hard to contact normal waiting time is over 30 minutes for me considering they have closed all stores and only operate via phone or computer. Will give up on claims on your behalf ,constantly changing operators and won't change addresses correctly witch is cruicial when you need to make a claim.
Totally agree with Bruce. It took ages to reach them on the phone. They never get back to you unless you keep calling them. They also try to minimize the claims, with underhanded methods to reduce liability. Choosing AMI is the worst decision I have ever made. Will NEVER use it again and will NEVER recommend it to anyone else.
Still waiting for my claim to be settled after 95 days! Claims lady is very helpful however not really profession to hear 2 staff at the front talking across the room about a customer.
AMI Hornby have been very kind and very helpful especially if you go in to the branch .I have had fantastic service and made to feel very welcome .The Assistant store manager Baidyn Waaka is very friendly and understanding to do with all aspects of insurance. And has made me feel very valued . I'm sure this reflects from the managers there to give great service to all of its paying clients that have insurance .Thank you AMI Hornby .I am one very happy customer
NO ONE EVER AVAILABLE BY PHONE. I can't believe every phone in the branch is permanently engaged. i have had a recurring problem with my car insurance every month for the last 6. I call the call center and get it seen to and the next month the same problem. To top it off they play jazz music down the line which irritates me intensely.
Paul Shannon at AMI Hornby is a legend, he has gone the extra mile more than once - you simply do not find this type of service at an insurance company anymore. I would highly recommend dealing with him. I was looking at changing insurance companies prior to talking with Paul.
