Clyde one of the pharmacy assistants is a very competent worker, who provides fast and effective over the counter service.

I don't give bad reviews generally but this chemist truly deserved it. We were only passing through the town and stopped by to ask about the supervised COVID test and the chemist was very rude and dismissive saying they don't do one, although their website clearly provides an appointment booking for this.  Luckily not all the staff are terrible, one of them pointed us to the Discount Drugstore in Albany Plaza. That's where you should go if you are looking for a chemist with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Great pharmacy great selection and faster than most in town

Excellent pharmacy so spacious, wide variety of stock and open late every day. So glad they have sanitising station and ensure masks are worn by everyone coming in - keeping us all safe.

So grateful for an all hours chemist in Albany, thanks for being open on a Sunday.

I called at AMCAL this morning to request two documents were certified by a pharmacist. Four staff including the pharmacist stood seemingly doing nothing that couldn’t have waited two minutes as the shop was empty bar one customer being served at the other end of the store and the response was ‘we can’t do anything until we have a second pharmacist at 10am’.  two signatures less than two minutes in an empty pharmacy. I should add I would have also purchased products I usually buy from here. I won’t bother again. Really disappointed.

This is a nice chemist with well laid out aisles. The pharmacy is quick and the service is exceptional. All the staff are very friendly and they have a good range in store. They have very good opening hours as well so that you can get to a chemist when most places are closed. Parking can be a bit painful at times but there is a side street you can park on.

Wonderful service always great seeing Ben and the team, best chemist in Albany. They know there regulars and treat them like family. Thank you Amcal family for all your great service

Nice pharmacy, well set out and very friendly staff - however - the prices here are outrageous.  Paid an extra $38.30 for some scripts, one generic medication was double the price and others were between $6 and $8 dearer than our last lot.  I will be asking for prices in future - before purchase.  A real rip off.

Amazing range, the new young man at the back counter is a great addition to the team. Good to see them hiring some men for a change :
