Welcome to Ambrosinis, a restaurant that prides itself on delivering the complete dining experience-good food and friendly, prompt service in environment that is both quite classy, yet comfortable.

Located minutes from the CBD, in the eastern suburb of Norwood where you can be sure of experiencing authentic Northern Italian cuisine , for this restaurant is in the capable hands of three generations of Ambrosinis. The kitchen produces meals that are rich in flavour and many ingredients are made on the premises such as the salt cured beef, Bresaola as well as the potato gnocchi. House specialties include seafood risotto, roast duck as well as offal dishes such as chicken livers or fried lambs brains while the specials board offers dishes such as Loin of veal with truffle sauce and gnocchi alla Romana or Braised Venison in red wine with polenta. While there is an emphasis upon meat dishes , as is typical of the region , Ambrosinis can easily cater for a variety of tastes, including those who are vegetarian or gluten or lactose intolerant.

The wine list has a broad range of local and Italian wines ,and a wide range of sparkling and still wines on offer by the glass. We highly recommend tasting some of the Italian wines when you visit, as these styles often complement the food in a way the more robust Australian wines cannot.
