To say this business went above and beyond is an understatement. My top had broken just before I needed to go to an event and the staff were so accommodating, fixing it within half an hour, and just before they closed too! They did such a fantastic job and were so empathetic of my situation. Couldn’t recommend them more, thank you again you were a life saver!

I can’t say enough good things about Alter It!  I’ve had so many alterations leading up to going overseas and all have been impeccable!  I even had bathers altered quite significantly and I couldn’t be more impressed with how well they turned out! This place is so good that I trust them with anything in my wardrobe. I have had clothing altered, as well as completely redesigned: dresses into a top and skirt combo, coats turned into 80's crop bombers, the works! This is a pretty demanding area and I have no doubt people come in with unrealistic time frames in regards to turn-around, but they have fantastic skill and their prices are fair for the quality. Went to Alter It Hawthorn and spoke to Parisa regarding a tear on the collar of an expensive jacket, which I was hoping to use that evening. Parisa said it couldn't be repaired in time, however offered a workaround which resulted in a an alternative which allowed me to walk out of the shop with the collar appearing perfectly normal!
