I just had some heavy items delivered and found out that the delivery workers won’t do anything other than drop your order off at the front of your house. If I had been told that when I was in the shop I would not have bought those things. I’m a retiree, I live alone, and have just moved into a new place where I don’t know anyone. How am I going to carry a sofa and a dining table up the stairs on my own? They also failed to deliver one of my items.nnI know it’s a charity and I’m sure that they have a lot of volunteers but failing to mention something as significant as not offering a propper delivery service is pretty bad. And to add insult to injury, failing to deliver the smallest item on my order made me feel very let down.nnIf you are in a similar situation to me and can’t carry heavy things, you might be better off going somewhere else.
Very poor service, wanted to buy an item that wasn't priced. Went to the counter to ask a price for it and the leady clearly overpriced it and when i asked her a reasonable price, se very rudly laughed at me and said no at this op shop this is the price, like they were some sort of brand or something.. the item was also damegend and not at its 100% utility very disappointing
I find everyone at Waves is so very friendly. When I had some large items to be collected, the guys very lovely.
There is so much stock at Waves of Kindness. There are little nooks of things set up beautifully throughout the whole warehouse. I particularly loved all of the fine china and antique items. Whatever you are looking for, you will probably find it here.
Customer service is really good. All smiles, very friendly, and helpful.
