Amazing salon! I was just visiting Melbourne and was staying near the salon. I said I would chance my arm by dropping in and Luckily for me the owner had just had a cancellation. Loved the cut and finish. He gave my fairly lifeless hair a complete make over. Perfect shape and silky smooth. I’ll be back if I’m visiting Melbourne again.

First visit, great service, lovely hairdresser and salon! The owner squeezed me in at the end of his day and was in no rush to get me out of the seat. Haven't had my hair cut short for 10 years but definitely felt i was in safe hands. Will definitely visit Allure again in the future :)

The Good: Staff were polite and friendly Nice conversation Cute dog Things that could be improved: $255 for half head of foils, toner, dry and trim (I was quoted $170, excluding trim) - not worth it $100 deposit was required to secure a Saturday appointment Foils are wider than today's standard. Very 90s Appointment was 30 minutes late Hot water at basin wasn't working EFTPOS was not working Cafe was closed - no cafe coffee available Cape smelled like wet towel. The staff were very pleasant, and of course location is going to bump up the price - but with the other amazing salons close by, I feel I should have spent the extra $30 and gotten a better colour and experience.

Great experience, friendly, genuine and welcoming. Hair cut is perfect. Had a complete restyle with about 6 inches taken off and absolutely love it. Will definitely be coming back.

November 2016 Another fantastic cut and colour by the owner! Can't thank him enough for the magic he works on my hair! Best hairdresser I've ever been to and I won't see another! The colour is always fresh and lasts well, and a few of my friends have also been to Allure and they're all very happy with the outcome. I cannot comprehend the two reviews below; If this was the case, myself and 3 other friends wouldn't keep coming back! He's such a nice guy :) October 2015 I am so glad I found Allure; the owner such an exceptional hairdresser and who I have come to trust to colour, cut and style my hair - which is not an easy feat! I have been through a few different colours and shades over the past few months and every one has been fantastic thanks to Glen's guidance and expertise. I always look forward to the next appointment and especially how I look walking out!
