I cannot overstate it: the best vegan GF baked goods I have ever eaten!! I tried the mock cream bun, the cinnamon twist, the chocolate sprinkle donut, the creamy mushroom and onion pie, and the pesto parmesan savoury twist. ALL VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE!! Even my chef husband, who ate the GF French vanilla slice, was impressed and confused by how well the gluten free bread and pastry were made. The staff were so kind and generous with their time, they even remembered me the next day when I came back for more, and helped me make decisions when all I wanted was to eat everything!! Overall, the absolute loveliest experience I’ve ever had at a bakery and I only wish I lived closer.
I got the GF Apple Turnover and the one underneath it, which also turned out to be an apple dessert, a GF Apple Pie. Apple Turnover was too sweet and too much cream inside for my liking. The pastry needs to be more flaky. I also didn’t like that there was SO much sugar sprinkled on both of my pastries which made it taste like I was eating granules of sugar. The outside of the Apple Pie was soggy. Didn’t like this one at all. A little bit overpriced. I do however hope to try their GF croissants next time! They were sold out when I got there. I feel the sugar really ruined the overall taste.
Thank you so much for going above and beyond in making my daughter’s 1st birthday cake.nnAs a family with allergies, to make a red velvet cake dairy free, nut free, soy free and gluten free look and taste amazing could not have been an easy feat and it just shows how talented your baker is. I wish I got their name so I could thank them personally.nnFor anybody looking for a bakery who can make personalised cakes for your special occasion, this is definitely a place to check out as their pricing is also very reasonable for what you will receive. Please note the photos were taken a few hours after pick up, which is why the icing may look a little melted.nnThank you once again.
I mean what atmosphere lol it's your typical Aussie bakery with great prices, stop and go get some food.nnAll Things Sweet Lawnton is a gf/non-gf bakery with two separate halves located on the opposite side of the roundabout to Club Pine Rivers. They have a range of gluten free treats for those who have intolerances and the bottom row is also dairy free.nnI got a cheese n bacon sausage roll and a lemon meringue tart. The roll was so delicious I scarfed it down but the meringue I found too sweet and it fell apart. I want able to finish it since I didn't have my cutlery set with me. And since I don't really eat eggs very often all I could take was super sweet sourness from the lemons and eggs. It was a shame!nnI'm not typically in the area but have Northside friends so this place will definitely be a multiple visit affair for me.nnThe three items I got cost lunch, sweet treat and a juice $17.75, which was really reasonable given the cost other places charge for gf when you never really know if it is.nnThank you!
food is quite enjoyable, the space is very small and can be a little inaccessible/hard to navigate. they have a lot of dietary options including gluten free and vegan - although I wished they had more vegan stuff. the staff are seemingly always very kind and willing to chat if that's your thing.
