I mean what atmosphere lol it's your typical Aussie bakery with great prices, stop and go get some food.nnAll Things Sweet Lawnton is a gluten free and non for sensitive bakery with two separate halves located on the opposite side of the roundabout to Club Pine Rivers. They have a range of gluten free treats for those who have intolerances and the bottom row is also dairy free.nnI got a cheese n bacon sausage roll and a lemon meringue tart. The roll was so delicious I scarfed it down but the meringue I found too sweet and it fell apart. I want able to finish it since I didn't have my cutlery set with me. And since I don't really eat eggs very often all I could take was super sweet sourness from the lemons and eggs. It was a shame!nnI'm not typically in the area but have Northside friends so this place will definitely be a multiple visit affair for me.nnThe three items I got cost lunch, sweet treat and a juice $17.75, which was really reasonable given the cost other places charge for gf when you never really know if it is.nnThank you!
We dropped by for some savoury and sweets. Picked up pies and sausage rolls for lunch and a few dessert for takeaway. The mushroom and steak pies had the perfect gravy consistency. The pastry was flakey. The sausage rolls were great also. The dessert was really amazing. We wanted to try their feta and cheese, but they ran out.nnWe ate it all so quickly forgot to take photos.
Delicious. There was not a crumb left.nThis was a vegan chocolate birthday cake so the whole family could eat it regardless of intolerances, allergies and diet preferences.nHighly recommend.nThe carnivores didn't even realise it was vegan!!
OMG!!! Finally got to the All Things Sweet Bakery today on Ellis Street Lawnton. So many people have commented in the Coeliac Brisbane group I had to go there for their gf deliciousness!!! Staff are all friendly and most helpful!!!nThought I'd duck up the road from Virginia doing hubby's delivery. It was quite a bit further than that, but wow!!!nnI couldn't help myself once I seen the gf chocolate eclairs, oh yummy. I hoed into that before I drove home so don't judge me on the bite marks plz nUnfortunately the baker wasn't there until Thursday this week to make gf pies but I bought a couple of gf bacon and cheese sausage rolls instead. So tasty and the pastry is moist and yet still flakey. nnI also got a loaf of gf bake house bread, so soft, will make some epic sangas for sure. How long it's been since buying bread that way is longer than I can remember. And then I spied the gf cream buns and gf apple pie . Hubby will be into that when he gets home ! Have not had an apple turn over with cream in literally years! Can't wait on that one too to spoil me end of the week. Yummy!!!nnThat epic fridge with the automatic opening doors for the gf cakes. Just had to get the gf carrot cake for my freezer and next week's morning tea
I have to travel out far to get here but it’s 100% worth it! The gluten free food is amazing. I was so happy when I came here I could hardly speak I was overwhelmed with excitement and joy! Like, they have stuff I’ve never seen gluten free. I’ve been trying gluten free stuff that I haven’t been able to have since I was little before I got sick and it makes me so happy. I recommend getting a bunch of stuff and bringing them home to keep in the fridge! The apple pie is my favourite because it’s really beautiful and tasty. I cannot recommend this place enough it makes me emotional coming here and the people are so nice and patient with how words can be hard with my autism and I love this place so much!
