After feeding Fitzroy for over 15 years Brunswick Street Alimenatri is excited to introduce Smith Street Alimentari, a Food Store with an emphasis on Take Home Meals! Pop in and try one of our delicious roasts from our rotisserie or order an entire roast to take home to the family. Choose from our selection of home style meals from our infamous Pork & Fennel Lasagne through to Arancini or Risotto. With an emphasis on flavour we hope to be your one stop dinner shop. This is such a beautiful cafe and deli with a coastline European town feel. Beautiful interior, courtyard and outside dining options. Beautiful thought out menu with fresh ingredients. Staff are friendly and helpful only let down by ok coffee which is disappointing being in Melbourne. Lucky the food and venue make up for it.

I really liked this cafe, there's some interesting take on Australian brunch, I especially like the beautiful balance of the spices applied to the buffalo soldier and Corn fritters. Coffee is excellent too.

I've always like alimentari. They have great coffee and a wide range of delicious all day dining options. The liquor licence doesn't hurt either ;

My favourite cafe to bring a friend from out of town. Beautiful food, fantastic menu and deli plus lovely friendly service set in a beautiful deco. Absolutely melbourne to a tea!

Meats balls are yum but came out a little cold. Dined of the front. The app works great but could do with more dietary requirement options. EG add or take away an ingredient. Staff are great

Probably the best salad ever! I’m just in love with their ceasar and brocoli salad! I am definitely coming back!

I can only vouch for Adam's comment below. The  staff are all white, mostly blonde and cultivate boredom.for diversity, you'll need to peer into the kitchen galley where the real talent lies  Ignoring people who don't fit a type is an art form at Alimentari.
