Just out of an unplanned visit to the The Alfred after smashing my big toe and must say they were great. I have to give a special shout out to Sheridan and Shirley in the fast track area that made my brief stay there pretty bearable! so thank you for all the help.
Had surgery at The Alfred, staff made it easy to stay and heal as you need too. Great staff and comfortable place to visit to see your Specialists when needed. Made it quite easy for me to want to drive the 6 hours to see the Doctor. great services.
Had to attend last week for a heart procedure. Everyone in the Cardiology dept were fantastic. Instilled confidence and helped me stay relaxed throughout. Well done.

I'm sure they do a good job at treating patients but my dealings dealing with them I found the staff rude, unhelpful and quite arrogant. The treatment of people is not limited to the physical realm. Being professional, polite and courteous to others is also not too much to ask.
I'm sure the medical work is great but the attitude and rudeness of staff and doctors means I'd avoid this place. Don't care if your 'The Alfred' take the chip off your shoulder
The Alfred is the best hospital in Melbourne right now I reckon. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The doctors are always trying their best to give the patients the best treatments as possible. All the facilities are easy to use and access. Highly recommend!
Was there on Monday for an angiogram. The staff in the day surgery department were awesome and took care of me very well. A big thank you goes to all of them.
