Alex is a highly competent and nuanced speech therapist. I can only speak from the perspective of treating a socially detached child with ASD, but I'm sure he diversely deals with a wide range of speech and communication issues. When my son started therapy about 7 months ago, he was barely verbal, not really using much voluntary language at all. Alex has given him the building-blocks of speech and used techniques to encourage him to use them, going so far as to identify and understand the concept of time: past, present and future (for tenses). He can now say things like, "It's thursday and we are going to see Alex V for talking practice"
