Jane and her team have been amazing to work with. My son started seeing Jane when he was 3 and has worked with 2 other therapists on her team over the last five and half years. We have been very impressed with all the therapists. They have all been very dedicated and successful in helping him achieve goals. They are all caring, patient and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend Active Speech Pathology to anyone looking for a great speech pathologist.
My 9 year old son has being seeing Miss Sydney, the speech therapist for the last few months and his teacher has seen a remarkable improvement in my son's abilities. He has gone up two levels in Maths and the English language. His reading and comprehension has also become more fluent and his self esteem and confidence is continuing to improve. HIs enjoys his visits to Miss Sydney and doing her homework. Thankyou so much!
Jane has always had my son spellbound with her kind and compassionate style and well organised sessions. The boy we see today is testament to the 8 years of Jane and her team working with him. To anyone looking for speech therapist…. Look no further than Active Speech Pathology!
I have been taking my teenage boy to speech therapist, Sydney Cyr, to do the Sounds Write Program. Both Sydney and the program are tremendous. I can see improvements in him after 5 sessions. Sydney has taken him back to the basics - things that he obviously didn't master when he was being taught to read - without making him feel babied or 'less than'. He wasn't hearing the sounds and the program is all about listening for the sounds and the crazy collections of letters that can sound the same. Sydney has compiled a comprehensive report about how my boy learns which has been fed back to his teachers. I coerced his initial visits with cologne but after a few sessions even he could see how reading and spelling could get easier by continuing with the program!
