This is Aldi. Seriously folks, do you really want me to write a review about an Aldi? They are all same: some regular grocery material, some items similar to popular brands in look and feel, electronics not worth buying, and staff at the counter so fast that you can't keep up with them. That's it!
Always I find the missing special buys products in this branch.
Aldi at The Glen SC Visited on 11/1/2021 Two obvious differences between this Aldi and two other Aldi in neighbouring suburbs, Brandon Park and Waverley Gardens, are the black colour scheme on the frames of shelving and counter cabinets and the location of the alcohol display case at the store. I like the very wide aisles, and the half height vertical freezers. The central isles are occupied by wooden crates used for displaying vegetable non-food items. It is unlikely customers can miss the full height display cabinets filled with alcoholic beverages. It is a very smart marketing strategic move.
Fairly new store. Stock seemed similar to other Aldis. Seasonal range in middle aisles with standard grocery items, fresh food, toiletries and alcohol around the outside. Line up at checkout was long, but it moved fairly quickly. Only 2 checkouts open, but they opened a third as I was leaving. Great products at great prices.
The usual place with excellent selection of various good items. One of my favourite is chilli flavored hot potato chips. The others include salted peanuts, crackers and chocolate. Wondering if they have increased the amount of salt in potato chips and peanuts in recent times.
Standard ALDI, close proximity to the other grocery outlets at the Glen makes it convenient. Plenty of special sale items and normally enough check-out lanes not to wait too long.
Staff are good. Products are good. Prices although higher than in past are still cheaper than other supermarkets.
Brand spanking new. So clean! A delight to shop in. Great bargains to pick up - as per other stores.
It’s happened a few times the staff didn’t apply the discount on the products with the marked down price at the checkout.
The price here is higher compared to other Aldi stores
