Fantastic coffee, great service - lovely staff! A very nice, casual place to relax and unwind. Love West End!
Went there once around midday on a weekday. All the staff were very helpful and kind. They immediately took my order upon sitting down and the food and coffee was promptly served. There seems to be a close knit community of regulars here as well as the staff which makes it an appealing atmosphere to have a drink and relax in. There are plenty of bikes racks located here if you want to ride here. Saturday mornings can get very busy however so avoid if at all possible. Overall an excellent place to visit and spend an hour is so relaxing.
Following a river side walk, I enjoyed one of the best coffees ever at Alberto’s. This isn’t my neighbourhood and I haven’t been here before, but my long black was perfect and I’m sure I’ll return. Staff was friendly and the place was consistently busy for the hour we stayed. Sanitiser and toilet available, and social distancing applied. My companion said her skinny cap was terrific also.
Great spot, quite and a legend of a coffee maker. The coffee was some of the best.
Ordered a breakfast here a little while ago and was really unhappy. The feeling that cheaper bread was used and the overuse of this horrible tomato paste that felt more like canned tomato puree really wrecked it for me. Location is not bad, seems like they have a lot of happy local customers, so good on them, but I can only go off my experience.
Love this cafe close to the river. Relaxing atmosphere. Paninis are my favourite for lunch and always freshly made in-house. Highly recommend if you looking for somewhere quiet in West End -don't miss the walk near the river after...
Very nice coffee. Thank you. Had to leave b cause a guy was smoking ! in the outside seating area. Isn’t this illegal? Having smoke blown over you is unpleasant Told the owner and left. Not a good look. Shame because it detracted from an overall good experience.
Amazing experience! The food was great and the coffee was one of the best at West End! Really loved the atmosphere as well as the friendliness and politeness of the staff! Will definitely be coming back again!
The great place to have lunch!
With its new riverside apartments bordering old style wooden houses, Southern West End is an attractive starting point for an eating experience. Get there by bus, ferry, or even car for a short walk from Orliegh Park to lower Montague street and breakfast at Alberto's Shot. The food is delicious and the coffee so great, being Italian Australian made. The ambience too, as one sits on a street and watches just a few cars. Then there's Italian voices and are we really still in Australia? I am breakfasting in a wonderful dream. Thank you Alberto's for adding your food, coffee, and presence to the start of my day.
