this school is just, wow, unless you are from anglo-australian descent and come from money, this school is not for you, teachers barley engage with students if an issue occurs, the principle has never had any personal interactions with students, a public school trying to act like a private school. the timetable is extremely messed up, especially with the overbearing amount of campuses, just a really sad and depressing environment to be in.
Suppose you are looking for an address for inefficiency, hypocrisy, discrimination, losing focus on priorities, or maybe being unable to get the priorities right. In that case, you are at the correct address. A punch of incompetent and dishonest people running this school backed up by a broken system; someone wrote a science fiction book describing his dream school when, in fact, he couldn't even look after a coffee shop. Don't be fooled by the false propaganda; walk down the streets during school hours to observe what students are doing during school hours. Ask the youth working in the shops in the area and see if they graduated from the school; many were kicked out of the school with horrible stories. If the school spends 10% of the time it is currently paying to falsify its image to the community doing the right thing, it will surely be in a different place. The school is run according to the last century’s management style, and you will be punished if you dare to challenge. Look at the reviews; those bad ones received more reactions.
Absolutely amazing school. I have never come across a principal like Steven Cook. The man cares, not just about his school but about the kids.nIt’s not a regular helicopter school, there’s no bells or school buses. The kids are encouraged to take responsibility, be independent and resilient. They get themselves to multiple campuses, the beach for sailing etc.nThe way they seamlessly switched to remote learning was incredible. They kept it structured, supportive and the APC kids thrived, while many other kids struggled.
Honestly, the best high school in the world I love it
My son loves going school here he loves the discipline the structure and the responsibility. Teachers are amazing and not forgetting the principle
