Bringing scientists, artists and students together to collectively address climate change & the environment.
Albert Park College is one of Victoria's leading secondary schools and prides itself on looking beyond its walls to form partnerships with the community. Together we are growing a great school and providing an outstanding education for our kids.
A significant chapter in the school's life is about to unfold in the shape of a new campus.
The heritage listed Port Melbourne Drill Hall will soon form the centerpiece of the College's Year 9 program focusing on an environmental arts curriculum where “making a difference to society” is the catalyst.
This hub of activity will be an inspiring and energetic facility by day where students will study and develop artistic responses to the world's environmental challenges. Performing and visual arts will also take centre stage, as will the schools extensive music program.
Outside school hours, the campus will be available to the broader community with the capacity to facilitate a wide range of services and activities.
To allow this exceptional facility to reach its full potential as a learning centre and civic resource, we are seeking the help of our community to raise $1 Million dollars.
