I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Matthew and everyone at Albany for making such a difficult time so beautiful. From our first meeting with Matthew to the day of my beloved wife's funeral  the care, support and respect I received was incredible. Everything went so smoothly  the celebrant, Kathryn , was amazing,  she spoke with such feeling it was as if she had known Jane and myself personally.  I would absolutely recommend Albany to anyone having to arrange a funeral. This is an amazing company who really care.

I had complete trust on the day that the whole thing would run smoothly and it did, taking so much stress and pressure away from me.  I spoke to many members of staff during the planning and every single one dealt with my queries and requests faultlessly.  The celebrant, Debbie, recommended by Albany, was also extremely helpful and professional.  Debbie grasped my husband's vibrant personality perfectly and presented a wonderful and apt eulogy, and went above and beyond to help me create an audio visual tribute. I cannot praise Albany's Funerals enough. As soon as I walked through their doors, I felt this could be it, after visiting several other Funeral Directors in Maidstone which felt oppressive and I couldn't get out quick enough. Albany where totally different. Light and airy, warm with welcoming surroundings. The owner Jo and her team where absolutely amazing, warm, caring, understanding, very efficient and helpful. They also organised the flowers, music, Church and Cremation and put me in touch with a local caterer. The Pallbearers were immaculately dressed and respectful. Jo has organised coffee mornings, pub lunches and even trips to the seaside to those who would like to join her and meet others in a similar situation. A rare thing indeed and I was surprised how the group has grown and how much fun, laughter and friendship has come from it. Having sadly lost two close family members within close succession, we have become well acquainted with Albany Funerals over recent weeks.  Angela, Matthew and the team constantly went the extra mile to deliver an amazing personal service that made a very difficult and challenging experience much more bearable.  Throughout all of the calls, face-to-face meetings and the in-depth planning that was involved, the care, compassion, understanding and thoughtfulness shown was second to none.  Working closely with Angela from day one, her unwavering professionalism and shared determination to get every aspect of the service right, along with her ability to display such great empathy, not only enabled us to deliver our final farewells with perfection, but also helped navigate us through the immense sense of loss and grief that we were experiencing.  Whether it be her recommendations around service style and content, floral tributes, or a celebrant - she got everything 100% right.  They were as perfect as the day itself, which Matthew and his team delivered with impeccable style and grace.  A final special thank you also to John, who from the very outset demonstrated a level of care, respect and dignity to us, which was delivered in equal measure to our loved ones under his care.  What you all did for us will never be forgotten.

Before we had to arrange the funeral for my dad we found it really difficult to know who we could trust with arranging his funeral. I had a few recommendations for Albany and we couldn’t have been more happy with his day. Every aspect of organising the funeral, the perfect celebrant choice and aftercare was faultless and I would be confident to recommend them to anyone. Albany funerals was chosen to arrange the funeral of my husband, and following that a Memorial Service two years later with over 160 people attending.  Every detail was arranged down to perfection with constant liaison and reassurance.  Jo was professional, understanding, and efficient in making sure all our requests were carried out down to the finest detail.  Each stage of events was dealt with sympathy and understanding, including liaison with the Church, order of service, hymns, flowers, photos and slides, then following that the arrangement of the Wake and Catering.  Jo took the pressure and worry away, and went above and beyond to make sure the days were perfect and ran smoothly, fulfilling the wishes of my husbands instructions of what he wanted at his funeral! Albany funerals we so helpful from the first phone call.  We wanted to have the funeral for our son as soon as possible and many other funeral houses were very unhelpful but Albany pulled out all the stops and gave us a funeral that was perfect.  Please do not hesitate in using this company, they were so lovely.

Albany was our choice, from a personal recommendation, to arrange my Dad's funeral. From the initial call, collecting Dad's body so carefully while we were grieving, through all the arrangements and the funeral itself. They were kind and  caring. Flawlessly professional and so compassionate .
