We took a friend to Sovrano for her birthday lunch. I had Filled Gnocchi for entree and Pasta Aglio, Olio E Peperoncino for main course. My wife had Parmesan Herbs Scallops and Venison and the birthday lady had Salt and Pepper Fried Calamari and a Gourmet Pistachio Pizza. Every item was exceptionally good. We even were given an Italian Almond Cookie with a birthday candle, with birthday music playing, as special treat for the birthday lady. We are staying in the area for a couple of months and have been to Sovrano three times now. Hands down the best winery in the area. This was another fantastic experience at Sovrano. Delightful experience all around! The dishes were all impressive- crafted with great flavors, presentation and lots of options. The service was perfect- no rushing, but the right amount of attention and personality. And the setting is a lovely place to share a great dining experience with loved ones. Highly recommend!
We’ve been to Sovrano Estate a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, beautifully prepared, full of flavour and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.nnIt’s one of those rare places you keep coming back to, because you know the food is delicious every time. Definitely a gem in the Far North and a favourite of ours.
Outstanding and would definitely go back. Between two of us we had the arancini, steak, venison, panna cotta and tiramisu. Everything was outstanding and so well cooked. Great value for money and highly recommend
4 of us went for a birthday lunch.nBeautiful food was the concensus of us all.nGood selection of wines for everyone's palate.nMy steak was great with fantastic flavor.nAs fairly new locals we would definitely recommend Sovrano for a special occasion, a romantic get together, a company or group / wedding venue etc.nYes - we'll be back !!
