Afghan Shaheen Restaurant

This is the place for families. If you have lots of kids especially, and they like rice and flatbreads, then this is the place for you. There's plenty of curry choices to go around the table. My partner and I had Lamb Skewers Mixed, an extra plate of lamb Skewers and deep-fried onion rings. The Food was very delicious and filling. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can definitely feel at home in this restaurant. It's also clean ans comfortable.

Afghan Shaheen has small burfi selection on the display fridge 4.5 Chicken soup, Naan and Eggplant Masala was freshly made and delicious. 5 They had original ingredients flavours and not oily Roti and Biryani was okay. Rice was lukewarm at least chicken had moisture not dry 3.5 If freshly made biryani 4.5 Roti was uncooked and replaced with new one. Amazing and authentic Afghani food. Quantity was good as well. Had Mantu, Chapli Kebab and Afghan rice with mixed kebab skewers. Will definitely visit again if I get a chance.

This will only be a short review, and I haven't eaten anything from here yet, but the deliveries I do for them always smell amazing. The staff are amazing and incredibly polite to me each and every time I arrive to collect deliveries. So, if you haven't tried anything from here, I say give it a try, and I might just be the one to deliver it to you if you order online. Uncle Bob, your Delivery Pro.

My favorite place for Afghan kebab in the west! Very fresh bread baked on the spot! Very delicious chicken and lamb, also cooked while you wait!

We love this restaurant and come here regularly. The food is delicious, good serving sizes and comes out fairly quickly. The mantu are amazing. Also recommend the mixed vegetable curry my favourite vego option. All the staff are really friendly too. Highly recommend!

We have been going here for the last 6 yrs. The food is great. I can only vouch for vegetarian stuff. Bread is very good too. However except for the main girl, you can not expect general courtesy. They show absolutely no effort to provide a good service. They accidentally billed us for 2 less items. The amount was considerable. 20 min later but when we realised that, we drove back to the restaurant to pay. I can't believe it but the girl at the counter did not say even thanks. Qty is not enough but food is good. I believe my days of dining at Shaheen are almost over.

Such a unique comination. Afghan bread with Indian curry. In my opinion, better combination than lamb and rosemary. Marriage made in heaven!! Really good bread and really good curry.Food: 5/5

We were regular customer here but our experience last time on 24.4.23 was really bad. Girl who took order and was on reception first brought wrong order and when we pointed out, she started making weird phases and secondly instead of apologising she was insistent on the fact that we three people are mistaken and she brought right stuff. Mentioned date so that admin of restaurant can teach customer service to staff present that day.
