Very happy with the service of Active BodyCorp. Appreciate the proactive approach in problem solving! They have been invaluable in looking after our building and dealing with one very difficult owner in particular. They respond to emails, phone calls, and offer advice on the legislation which we find confusing. Our invoices are paid within a couple of days, so our gardener and pool guy are very happy. I think some people don’t understand much about how a Body Corporate is run but it’s been helpful to have Active guide us on some of the difficult issues we’ve had to deal with.
This was the previous body corp fir our strata title. They were incredibly rude, inept. Even sent text messages threatening me to the committee... our property flooded and they provided zero assistance. I have nothing nice to say about them or their management techniques. Last time I commented here, they threatened me... yep ... its just my OPINION!!! 6 minths later... We have just changed to Tower Body Corp! What a difference. No approving expenses that are private, they follow rules for meetings, minutes and communication perfect. Active were so crapwe actually had to change AGM dates multiple times to allow dodgy owners to sell properties without issues turning up on the minutes. Our complex haven't had an audit in about 12 years, our property had no maintenance plan so we had so many issues due to lack of maintenance and no plan. In addition, agenda items were so poorly worded and put together including no quotes included for proposed works, duplicate items, Active literally had to scrap the AGM Agenda. They were truly atrocious. Within a couple of months with Tower we are getting a maintenance plan to prioritise works together, owners no longer able to fiddle the expenses, and the meeting was tidy including Afenda submissions. Online voting allowed, correspondence clean. Makes such a difference! Steer clear of Active. They're horrendous
