I had seen Ged when I had back pain and he was great. I have had shoulder pain for many years following shoulder surgery and my GP suggested physio might help. Jake was highly recommended as a shoulder specialist and I can assure you that he is amazing. Within one week he had improved the situation and I could move my arm without pain for the first time in 6 years. He is very knowledgeable and a nice bloke too. I highly recommend Jake and all the team at Up and Active. NOTE, there is a carpark at the rear off West Street.
Whilst visiting Toowoomba I booked in to see physiotherapist Michael. He explained the nature of my injury simply and clearly, treated my injury with genuine care and expertise, and assigned a manageable follow up plan. I am so pleased I was able to get an appointment with such a high quality practitioner whilst away from home.
Had another knee replacement and was recommended to go to Up and Active as my experience with another physiotherapy for my 1st knee replacement was not what I call very good rehab. This clinic is so much better and the results is unbelievable. Thank you

I had my initial consultation with Lizzy McCowen on 28 February 2020. My problem was diagnosed immediately with a detailed explanation of the basis of the diagnosis supported by a video she took of my movements to support her reasoning. I was then given information on how to manage the situation and exercises to strengthen the muscles affected to improve my symptoms. Brilliant! Problem solved and hope restored! I was referred to Lizzy by my personal trainer and will be joining the chorus of patients singing her praises. Thank you Lizzy.
