I booked this company for a service advised the cost would be $150 then $60 per unit thereafter. At no point was it advised to me that this price could change or that there were various levels of service. I of course assumed if parts required to be changed there would be additional costs. However in entry to the premises the Acer representative pulls down the flap of the unit glances at it &  states major service visits the bedroom states service when I query major service he quotes  $300! I call Acer direct to query as to why additional cost when not advised that this could happen. Was asked were they supposed to tell the customer all of the possibilities I advised it would of been useful yes as if I had of known I would of shopped around. I stated it felt like a scam get a foot in the door then bump up the price I was told sorry you feel that way was talked over so I could not speak. When I stated that I believed  all options and in their case costs should be advised as would be an expectation in my own line of work(stated who I worked for) the call was terminated she then called the technician asked him if he was still on my premises and told him to get the f*** out of there!!!! I could hear every word. Disgusting sevice or lack there of

Unbelievably curt and rude service from Helen at their main office contact number....

We had a fully ducted air conditions system installed into our home as part of a house extension we had done. Acer services were used as the installer of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries system by our builder. We chose Acer to service the system proactively for 2 years based on the fact that we felt they had installed it and would most likely know it best.

 Each time I dealt with Acer/Helen I was left feeling like they were doing me a favour. Curt and monosyllabic responses were always the order of the day. 

On this last occasion the system stopped working just before we had our yearly service. On calling Acer I again spoke to Helen who curtly informed me that " I am alone and will have to call you back" Ok...I get it...she's busy. By the time I made MY THIRD call back I was finally transferred to another staff member who informed me it would be three weeks before they could get a tech to attend....Wow!! Ok...it's summer. When I mentioned that Acer had installed the system, it would still be under warranty and that we were regular customers I was informed that "We have lots of regular customers" ...nice! 

I called Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and they advised they would get a warranty repair done for us and offered Acer as the warranty repair agent...NO WAY! Thankfully they were able to refer it to another agent who I intend to use going forward for servicing.

Interestingly when I chased my builder for a tax invoice to support the warranty repair he stated that he no longer uses them. NO SURPRISES there !! 

ACER? ....don't waste your time with this lot. You're just a commodity to them and as for Helen?...she needs some serious customer service 101 training ...or a new career!

After being given the run-around by two other local companies, we contacted Acer with regard to installation of ducted air in our home.  We should have contacted them first.  They returned our call almost immediately, a site inspection was arranged for the following day, and a date was set for installation in a few weeks (one local company had advised we would have to wait several months!).  The installers arrived promptly at the advised time, were polite and friendly, worked quietly and cleaned up after themselves. From our first phone call enquiry to completion, it was a  job well done.  We highly recommend them.
