Access Hair Salon was opened with a vision to create a salon with a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, an emphasis on personal services tailored to meet a clients individual need. I strongly recommend against having your hair done at Access Hair Balmain. I went in for a blonde balayage look and came out with hair completely different to what I had requested. I wanted my hair lightened but dark, coppery streaks were added to it. The foils were so poorly blended that my hair looked incredibly streaky, and I had horrific chunky highlights around the top of my hair which were completely uneven see images. The worst part is that, despite communication with the manager, I was only offered back half of what I paid and have been refused a full refund on multiple occasions. I had to have my hair fixed at another salon, which cost me $190. There are plenty of other great hairdressers in the area that will actually do a good job, so please, choose another salon that will respect yourself and your hair.  **Please note that the response from the owner is completely false - I did not receive a haircut nor treatments, and I only purchased one product worth $11. I was treated incredibly poorly by members of staff there when I raised the issue. Feel free to get in contact with me if you would like further evidence of the situation.**

had another excellent cut & colour from Access Hair today, love that they understand I'm after a low maintenance style as can't seem to find the time for regular visits. I know that the cut will hold it's shape for long past when most others would. Friendly staff, the most comfortable washbasins going, and a lovely flat white topped it off. Very reasonable prices also. I highly recommend Nina and team.

This was my first experience with Access Hair and I loved it.  I was put with Andrea who has a lot of experience and a great understanding of what could work for me when making a significant change to the length of my hair.  I went from hair to my shoulders to short hair and it looks great.  I couldn't be happier.  I felt listened to and the whole experience was really enjoyable.

Best place in Sydney where to have your hairstyle done! I wouldn't go anywhere else! I go to Access Hair from Rose Bay so not very close but definitely worthy it! Personally I go to Andrea but I would recommend anyone there!

Great salon with very talented staff. Nina turned me into a pixie 2 years ago and I'm constantly getting random people comenting on my hair and asking who cuts it.

I have been going to Access Hair Design for a couple of years now.  I can highly recommend them.  I'm always happy with the result and the service is fantastic.

I have tonsurephobia yet have had 3 delightful experiences at Access hair in Balmain  felt listened to and pampered to the max: good coffee too, I thoroughly recommend a visit!

Love to travel from Young NSW to get my hair done by Troy ... cant get a cut like that anywhere in Australia ... well worth the drive ... staff are AMAZING thankyou Nina n crew

It’s taken me 30 years to find a hairdresser this good! They give you exactly what you’re after and make it even better by suiting the haircut/style to your face. Perfect!
