Stellar Stay at Acacia Caravan Park, Ararat, A Hidden GemnnOur stay at Acacia Caravan Park, Ararat was nothing short of wonderful, and honestly, it turned out to be a true hidden gem.nnThis was a very last-minute booking for us while we were fleeing fire-affected campgrounds during our 3-week holiday, and the team could not have been more accommodating. They were understanding, calm, and genuinely supportive, even arranging an early check-in, which made a stressful situation so much easier for our family.nnThe park itself is immaculately clean and extremely well maintained. The sites are tidy, public areas are cared for, and waste management is clearly well thought out. The amenities block was spotless, and the tap-and-go washing and drying facilities were such a practical and appreciated feature while travelling.nnThe heated pool was a big hit with the kids and a perfect way to relax after long days on the road.nnWhat really sets this park apart is the heart behind it. Ice creams are reasonably priced no holiday overcharging, with a focus instead on supporting local kids and raising money for the Good Friday Appeal, which meant a lot to our family. It’s refreshing to see a park prioritise community over profit.nnThere were also thoughtful little touches everywhere, like mints provided in the amenities, which sounds small but speaks volumes about the care and attention to guest comfort.nnStaff were friendly, informative, and incredibly supportive, happy to share local knowledge, events, and great suggestions for exploring Ararat and the surrounding area.nnA welcoming, community-focused, family-friendly park that truly goes above and beyond, especially when you need it most. We’re so glad we found it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
An awesome little caravan park we have stayed at for the last 3 nights.nSuper friendly staff happy to help with parking van if required. The van site was spacious and level.nThe amenities were clean and an extra provided bath mat to step onto after shower. First time I have seen a bath tub for kids.nThe kitchen is the best I have ever seen. They even had the day's news paper to read, games to play, book and DVD swap, coffee machine and the list goes on. Oh to mention the doggy wash area.nThe location is great with easy walk to museums cbd and other attractions.nThis park is not the most fancy place we have stayed in but it's the little touches that make you feel at home.nLoved our stay and we hope to come back. Thanks so much.
This is a great caravan park. We found the sites generous and fitted our 9m motorhome well plus room for our tow car next to it. The park is super tidy and clean. There's bathmats provided for those showering, shade over the pool, plenty of bins and dump point even had handbasin to wash your hands. I loved the radio playing in the toilets, also very clean. The office has some drinks and snacks to buy too. The owners are lovely, all the staff friendly. Would highly recommend.
Great little independant caravan park. Very accommodating with our circumstances and our brand new van. Thanks Kaylene and Matt we really appreciated the stay. Highly recommend. Clean amenities and tidy park with generous sites.
Great value for money. Small, very well maintained park. Lovely grassy sites with clean amenities. The camp kitchen is a stand out - small but very clean and well equipped. Two coffee machines small charge, pizza oven, a fabulous library of books, DVDs, games and even newspapers. Friendly, helpful managers.
