Worked with Michael for a short time before I was “let go” for quote “being on anti-depressants” and according to him “being away with the fairies”. He also breached code of conduct by discussing this with his employee.  During my time he made me do many non-work related tasks such as going with him to stores to buy things for his house or for himself.  I found him extremely invasive about my personal life and I was scolded daily for being on antidepressants or having an opinion he didn’t agree with.  He also tried to “psycho-analyse my behaviour” on a daily basis which well… speaks for itself.  This was my first “job” I was not paid so I don’t know if you can call it a job and for me it was a horrible experience.  This is based on my personal experiences however I will never be using his services nor will I recommend to friends and family.

Mike took care of my dad beautifully and guided us through the process all the way, I really had no idea how it all worked but he was patient and informative in my many questions. Upfront about costs and didn't push extras on us, in fact he helped us save some money. Knows the tikanga when bringing someone on to the marae and is just a kind, friendly man who cares about families being cared for and held during their grief. Couldn't recommend him enough.
