Very impressed with A1 locksmiths service. Firstly, they rearranged the schedule in order to accommodate our urgent job when others couldn't. Showed genuine interest in solving the problem. Secondly, the locksmith, Brenton, demonstrated professional knowledge and expertise, provided excellent clear information regarding the door lock issue, had the parts most others said they might have to order in even though they hadn't seen the door repaired the door quickly and confidently. In summary, one of the most successful outcomes for trade work we have had in years! Thank you A1 and Brenton. We highly recommend this business.
My partners outlander had an issue on the car door mechanism and remote key. The team at A1 managed to address both these issues while still accommodating a busy day of multiple customers. Thank you for a positive outcome.
2.5 Called on a Sunday arvo to open my front door. I locked my house keys inside, after taking the car key off for the towey who was collecting our car from an accident earlier this afternoon, so I was stressed, plus locked out with a flat ph. battery, so my communication was minimal & further stressing me to get help before my ph. died. 1.5hrs. wait time as coming from another job, so be it, its a Sunday, nice enough tradesmen, but when charged $200. when he opened the door within seconds with a tool straight into keyhole, it wasnt a hard task at all, so I wouldnt recommend on price alone for our Scarborough community. Half happy, gets half the stars.
Quick and easy, very knowledgeable staff - I phoned 4 or 5 different locksmiths who said they likely wouldn't be able to duplicate my key due to the proprietary chip, but that the guys at A1 should be able to do it, - and sure enough they were! Thanks a Million
I found A1 after having had a disappointing experience at my local key cutting kiosk. 2 sets of 5 keys cut and not one worked. These were $9 each. The guy at A1 checked my keys first to make sure he had the correct blanks and confirmed he did. I was charged $5 each. I did have trouble with one key however I suspect that was Because he was cutting a copy off a copy and not an original key. I did get the key to work with a bit of graphite powder. I didn’t get his name but he was really friendly and cut the keys quickly. I will never go to a kiosk again. It’s easy to find on Scarborough Beach Rd. Lots of easy parking out front.
The service was really appalling. It took 8 weeks & 2 days for them to fix our sliding door lock. One month after coming out I rang to find out how much longer they were going to be to return, it would seem they finally looked at the job at this stage, because I received a quote 6 days after ringing. After they finally did come out, I couldn’t pay on the day, I get sent an invoice with a link to pay, which I got charged an excessive $10.58 processing fee. No, I would not recommend them and will not use again. In response to the owner: It was not the parts, your staff did not order until I followed up. The locksmith even asked why it took so long. I did NOT get the option to pay on the day, when your accounts person rang she said I’ve sent you an email with the invoice to pay, 2 days later. The processive fee was NOT shown. I will also add that my first appointment Apr 21 they didn’t rock up to the and when I rang, they said it was a miscommunication, the office staff blame the locksmiths and vice versa. I wish I had cancelled at that point, I should have known they are unprofessional.
I panicked as the remote snapped off my key leaving it in the ignition, I managed to get my car started .Jayden did an excellent job $77 later all fixed, I can highly recommend A1 Locksmiths, thank you Jayden.
Super helpful!! Didn't have what I needed in stock but offered to.order. Unfortunately I didn't have the luxury of waiting so they referred me to another company. Thanks, I appreciated rhe guidance.
Professional service and friendly staff. A1 were busy but managed to send someone out to after a 90min wait. Took them 5min to expertly unlock my car less than 6km from a1 office. Was charged $275 which seems very high?! Price was never discussed, which is my fault but I was desperate borrowing a phone at the time.
