It’s the best place to buy fruits and vegetables in Hobart. The prices are very affordable, sometimes as low as half compared to Woolworths or Coles. While the quality may not be the best, it is acceptable given the great prices. They also offer a wide variety, allowing you to choose the best products. There is plenty of parking available, and it’s conveniently located in the heart of Glenorchy.
Vegetables and fruits are not 1st grade like in Coles, Woolworths. But it is still good 2nd grade. If you choose carefully, you can pick 1st grade stuff by spending less than Coles or Woolworths. And they got good verity of veggies and fruits. Highly recommend to check out.
Hansen apples bought other day. Most of the apples were rotten from inside. Nothing wrong with the staff or customer service. But there should be some sort of Quality Check.
Good range of fresh fruit and veg at competitive prices. Supply a lot of Tasmanian grown produce. Large car park, open air store with large isles - very popular but never crowded. Occasionally you'll find something less than fresh which the staff have happily exchanged. They also desperately need shopping baskets or smaller trolleys - the provided trolleys are too big and awkward for the typical shopper.
As a single person I seldom want to buy bulk of anything, so it's annoying when I visit A One that I can't buy a single carrot etc. It's also annoying that everything is in plastic. I'm trying to reduce plastic in my life, we ALL should be, and it's virtually impossible to do this if one shops at A One. I want to avoid shopping at the big two C & W and want to support my local businesses, but you're not making it easy for me.
