I have lived in Bedlington for over 30hrs and never been to this garage .. We used it by default really when the garage we normally go to was being refurbished and out of use . They were very accommodating , agreeing to take my daughters car in when it had lost all power and had to be recovered by the RAC .. Because it was over the Xmas period they gave her a courtesy car , despite never having met any of us before , which we were truly grateful for . The problem was not straightforward, but the garage kept us updated about what they were doing / what parts they were waiting for .. A few days after she got it back we noticed an oil leak  possibly coincidental and nothing to do with the original problem  The lads came to the house that night and took the car back to the garage .. Another part was needed , sent for , fitted and the car returned after a couple of days , with no further charge ..  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this garage ... transparent , trustworthy and professional Service:&nbsp;Engine repair

These guys are brilliant. Not only are they compassionate about vehicles, but the mechanics are honest and the front-of-house team are amazing. There is no brand snobbery here, and older cars are catered for with a level of professionalism largely unseen in a modern world. Everyone is friendly, everyone is understanding, and you feel like a part of their work family everytime you go in. I can't recommend this garage enough. I refuse to use anyone else.

Waste of time. Absolutely rip off service  after fitting a new engine I've had nothing but problems AA called out serval times and found loads of faults  including  metled break cable caused by a valve  not been  capped off to oil leak in engine. I would not recommend this garage to anyone.

What a fantastic garage. Twice they have come to my rescue.  Kind, considerate and professional.

Excellent detective work on analysing engine management system in a 7 year old Land Rover - they took time to research and analyse. Repaired successfully at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer. Have used Lion Garage in all its forms for 30+ years and always found  them very thorough, comparatively cost effective and very helpful. New to the area and needed garage services urgently after both our vehicles broke down. Lion Garage came recommended and I now know why having received exceptional levels of customer service from Gillian who sourced the cheapest parts and moved heaven and earth to get one of our vehicles back on the road in just a matter of hours. Big thank you also to the workshop lads for doing the repairs at short notice. With great communication, professionalism and honesty throughout I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lion Garage Services Ltd and suffice to say we will be returning patrons. Thank you.

Full service and MOT on my Audi A5, couldn't question the price or service. Will be going back

Friendly staff, really easy to book your car in online or via email and the prices are fair.

Initially, I was happy with how the staff is friendly although the price came much higher than expected. However, parts were not available from the garage's suppliers so I had to wait for another day. The garage kindly offered me a courtesy car which was old and nearly had no fuel. Although they said the fuel is low but I could not believe that a professional garage to give a car with less than 20p of fuel. I missed the close petrol station and the car could not drive for even 2 miles. I took off three stars, one for each of the following reasons: 1 Putting myself at high risk by giving me a courtesy car with none of braking light working. 2 Charging me for the petrol they put in their own car although I left the car with much more petrol than I took it with and time for fixing the problem they were part of although when I rang the grage for help they did not say there would be a charge for this and I already have full recovery so I could use it. 3 I raised all my concerns to the front desk when I collected my car and almost no response or apologies were given apart from "will let the team knows".  John, Thank you for replying to my concerns however as I said earlier, why did not your staff mention about the charge when I called the garage? I could easily call my recovery which would not cost me anything? Secondly, I was expecting an explanation to these concerns from the management when I raised them but you only took time to reply when they become available to the public.

Had a catastrophic engine failure whilst 250 miles from home. John and his team came to the rescue, got everything sorted including a new engine and dealt with any problems that cropped up. Honest, helpful and all at a reasonable price. Can't recommend this garage highly enough. Thanks
