We are a urban day spa situated in Gymea Bay. Our aim is to provide the best possible treatments and services at a very reasonable cost.

We have complete Day spa facilites, including a jacuzzi with over 60 powerfull massage jets, Herbal steam room, Swedish style Sauna, Jet spa with Hydrofusion and Vichy shower.

We are also a medi spa with all the latest state of the art equipment including E-Light IPL, LED Photo-Rejuvention, Jet- Peel Microdermabrasion, Diamond Microdermabrasion, R-F Cellulite and Fat Reduction Devices.

Could honestly never experience anything better than A Kur! Danielle is so lovely and professional and her treatments are 10/10! The spa is absolutely gorgeous and so unique you feel as though you are in another country. AMAZING treatments and are so affordable! could not recommend it enough.

Since my post I have received a loverly phone call from the business owner. Who was shocked by my experience. She was genuinely concerned and professional in her response to my feedback. 
She was extremely apologetic and offered to do another facial. It was loverly to hear from her.

 I just wanted to give some feedback in regards to experience. I was gifted a spa treatment voucher for Christmas and was really eager to go and try out thie day spa. 
Upon arrival I decided to arrive 10 minutes early, as previous experiences your asked to fill in a form and provide your details and check for allergy’s ect. When I arrived I was told I was early and asked to sit. 
At about 5 past my booking time I was taken in and asked to undress and lie down and she walked out. 
A nice “ Hi, I’m Lucy and I’ll be giving you your treatment today. Looks like you’ve been booked for a ‘A Kur Treatment’ ,do you know what that involves? First we will do a full body massage followed by a facial. Do you like your massages hard? Are you allergic to anything? Should I know about any injury’s before we begin? ” 
I was told I was early. That’s all the communication I got. 

So I was  given a massage on my back and legs. And was wiped down with a cold face washer. It was freezing. 
I was then given a facial. However more of the product was left in my hair than my face. And it left me feeling really dirty. 

Once the facial was finished I was asked if I wanted and drink and then she walked out of the room. I assumed the treatment was over and left. 

I really wanted to provide feedback on my experience as I’ve been left feeling really disappointed. I feel terrible that the money spent was wasted.

I try to go to A Kur every few months with my mum. I would never go anywhere else. A Kur is an amazing day spa with incredible service and even more incredible prices. They are an actual day spa (not just a salon with a room). Highly recommend this business. Dannielle and staff are the best in the business!!

After having had one wonderful experience with Akur, the second time we were left waiting 40 minutes before they got around to us.  At that time I heard about what a horrible day she had had....my day wasn't going to well either -so I left.  I wrote an email expressing that it would have been nice to receive a call to know they were running late and was told 
"Half an hour is not an unusually long wait time at this busy time of the year my hairdresser was running over an hour late to other day so I  left and came back it happens sometime but not often it's just life." (Written by Danielle at Akur Spa).
Very disappointed as I like to support local business.
