At ZEN Energy Systems NZ, we are focused on creating tailored solar energy solutions to suit your lifestyle and meet your financial needs. Our quoting and analysis go above and beyond, providing you with accurate financial expectations of any new ZEN Energy System. We are proud to introduce New Zealand's first fully branded and packaged Solar Energy System.

Through extensive research with some of the world’s leading experts in solar energy, we have created a system that uses only the highest quality and most efficient components on the market. Each component has been chosen to function optimally with one and other, making a ZEN Energy System an efficient, worry free solution with a 25 year warranty.

We’re here to help you through every stage of the solar process; from your initial enquiry, to our on-site consultation, to having your system installed. We also take care of the paperwork required to connect your solar system to your electrical utility.

Our service doesn't stop once your system is installed. We are continually monitoring the New Zealand Electricity market, and can advise you on any changes that may affect your solar energy system. You can also choose to be updated about new technologies and products that will complement your system (there are some exciting products on the way).

I have just had a solar system installed through Zen energy systems. I had a great experience with the electricians who installed the system. I am ecstatic with the performance of the system. I would have no hesitation recommending Zen Energy Systems.
Zen provided just the right amount of information on the various options available for a solar system for our house. The sales team were very good at outlining the pros and cons of each option and didn't try to push the most expensive options or try to over sell the benefits. The support team were proactive in keeping me updated with progress while dealing with shipping delays that had become common place after covid. Installation was managed well and the system works perfectly, delivering what the sales team promised.
Although there were a few hiccups along the way with our full off grid system, the team at Zen really pride themselves in customer service! There was always someone at the other end willing to answer our calls and emails, which in this day and age is refreshing. In the end we couldn't be more happy with the performance of our system!
We wanted to future proof our new build installing both solar and battery back-up. After researching and meeting with several companies Zen Energy was a clear winner with their knowledge, service and products. They co-ordinated everything with our builder and delivered exactly what and when they said they would. We are so happy with the system and find the portal / app easy to understand and use our system to its full potential. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience with Zed. Really easy process, and the staff were helpful and informative - I learnt heaps. Very happy woth our Solar install.
Mike Anderson designed a system for our situation which once installed is performing above my expectations, The installation took a bit longer than expected but the installer had a good reason for this so wasn't a problem. There was a bit of confusion about the installation of the input/ export meter so we are still waiting for this but hope to get it installed soon so we can claim back all the extra power that we are Generating.
Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience with this company. The sales person we dealt with sold us inaccurate product and had left the company by the time our product was installed. Then the tech support left the company, leaving us with no support when we ran into issues. Lucky we ended up getting the gear working, but annoying we had had figure things out on our own. Hoping our solar stands up over time as customer support is weak.
The admin, sales and service teams were excellent. But there was a very long delay before the actual installation, thanks to Covid etc etc.
Mike Anderson came with Stefan on the initial site visit / quote as we were mid-way build. The team provided a comprehensive solar site assessment, options and have installed a fantastic product, the RedBack Hybrid System with batteries. These guys were quick to return quotes, and when approved, almost immediately jumped on the project prior to walls being installed and installation of the roof. Even with minor challenges, these were quickly overcome with a responsive team and a great contractor working for them providing an awesome end-to-end installation experience. Highly recommend this company, and product. Talk to Mike if you need it done right! #RedBackTech best hybrid solar system on the market, you wont regret it.
Have been speaking to Mike A. from Zen and he is a top notch professional and one of the good guys. I am really happy with the advice and candour of our discussions and his thoroughness in explaining their offer.
