A nice walk in nature with lots to see and do. Only disappointment was that the river was drained and some of the tracks closed. Once renovations are completed I’m sure it will go back to 5 stars. Still definitely worth the trip out
Great sanctuary but was somewhat disappointed that quite a few of the trails were closed due to the weather. Had we have known that when paying, then we would have come back another time to enjoy all Zeelandia has to offer. Lots of volunteers which was very impressive. Keep up the good work.
Wonderful nature walk. Heaps of native birds and plant life surround you as you walk through this pristine landscape.
Wow first time going and it didn't disappoint!!! So lucky to live in such a stunning country
Very knowledgeable tour guide and a lovely walk through nature enjoying the native flora and fauna. The kaka and the saddlebacks steal the show. A nice escape from the urban jungle.
Some of the tracks were closed and we really wanted to see the takahe but they have been moved up the park so they aren't overly close. A great walk out though. Not too challenging.
A really great place to chill and see some of NZ's wildlife. Recommended not only for the wildlife but also some of Wellington's history
Wonderful to have a predator free area for NZ native wildlife. Walking tracks for varied fitness levels. Great views
Would highly recommend visiting here if you're in any inclined to spot some native wildlife! Definitely a must do if you're looking for something to do while in town. Track can be muddy after some rain to don't wear your nicest shoes
Nice outdoor place to visit so close to city centre, many native birds to find.
