Nice atmosphere however the seafood chowder was extremely salty. Food overpriced and I guess the plus point about the restaurant is the view and that's about it. Asked for a spoon twice but never came.... Used fork instead for my salty soup. Sorry-but not for me
A beautiful spot by the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our food: gnocchi and the fish and chips. Service was amazing - thank you Rose! It was nice to have music accompany our meal, although I prefer acoustic over amplified.
We spontaneously ended up at Zane Grey's restaurant when we were looking for a place to eat dinner on Monday evening. We received a warm welcome from the waitress, Val, whose accent intrigued us, prompting us to ask about it. As vegetarians, we're used to having only 1-2 options on the menu, which are usually not very creative. So, we were really happy to see that this place had a whole vegan menu! The Asian noodle salad was great!nnWe highly recommend this restaurant for its welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and impressive variety of delicious vegetarian and vegan options.
The food recommended by Dyah is so delicious, and the service from her was amazing. It’s our first time to be in New Zealand, first meal too…. We are so enjoy. Thank you Dyah! :
Very friendly customer attendant and waitress. We were greeted well and taken to our seats. We sat overlooking Paihia wharf. At first it felt like our restaurant was moving because of the sea waves. The ambience was great. There were lots of seating available. They have a huge selection of drinks and food. We spent like an hour before we left. We had dinner at Zara's.
