My fav place to be. It's a true sanctuary in the centre of Brussels. You get much more than yoga, it is a soulful experience that lingers with you for a long time. The studio has stunning facilities. My favourite parts are the zen lounge with the rocks and cute plants and the herbal tea, as well as the Sun room upstairs flooded with light. Also love the great variety of classes, there is something for everyone. The Welcome Pass - intro month for 59 EUR - is an amazing deal and a great way to explore all the classes.
Simply WOW...The most beautiful yoga studio I have ever seen. I love the interior design, the earthy materials, the rocks and the spa-like ambience. There are plenty of other things and details that I also like about this place: the diverse class schedule, the rooms always smell great, the peppermint shower gel experience after a hot class, the changing rooms and showers are stunning, and they offer free organic tea. You can feel that this studio truly embraces sustainability. All the staff members and teachers are super friendly, welcoming and eager to help you. I would highly recommend Yyoga St Catherine to anyone seeking a new yoga studio to call home!
A really good friend of mine lives in Brussels and convinced me to take a yoga class in the city centre. Yyoga is on one of the main / busiest squares in Brussels. But the moment you step into the studio you can feel the calmness flow over you. Everyone is respectful of each other's space. There aren't any outdoor distractions at all. I'm always a bit anxious when I go to a new studio or gym. I'm not a highly experienced yogi at all. And I always hesitate how the surroundings will react to my body size and lack of experience. I felt at home right away, honestly. No one stared, everyone was friendly and helpful, the changing rooms were super tranquil. First of all, all classes are in English which is delightful. The studio is so welcoming to expats and the worldliness of Brussels. I took a restorative yoga class given by Robbie. I usually do Ashtanga yoga so it was interesting to see if I would be able to let my guard down and embrace the experience. He guided me and the other participants in the best way. Everything was explained simply and we were given alternative options for every pose. If I were to live in Brussels, I would definitely become a member! Please open a studio in Ghent!
Very grateful that a studio like this exists in the city centre of Brussels Sainte-Catherine. Being able to practice yoga and pilates in a simple, relaxed and serene atmosphere is really amazing. I started yoga 1 year ago and with a practice of several classes a week, my back pain has been greatly reduced. I feel much better. The team and the teachers are always very helpful and caring and the place is very peaceful and beautiful! And thanks again you for my niece's first yoga class. ;- She loved it!
I fell in love with Yyoga as soon I walked into the studio. I had no plans to start yoga as I always considered it slow and less challenging especially coming from India where this used to be one of the mandatory courses during my school. However, after lot of inflexibility issues I was strongly recommended Yyoga by some friends. Rest is history. The experienced and thoroughly insightful coaches in the studio made me realize how much I was missing on the important part of my fitness - building the core and using my breath to revitalize the body. The ambience of the studio works as an important conduit to release stress and channels positivity energy post hot/power/Vinayasa flow yoga sessions. Strongly recommend experiencing this studio if you are interested in yoga. It will change your life.
I tried their Welcome Pass for 59 EUR and took 10 classes during 30 days. Great experience! My favourite classes were the hatha Geraldine and yin classes with soundbath Eeva. I'm now hooked and excited to learn more...the ambience is amazing and the teachers are so sweet...
My favorite place - a true sanctuary in the heart of Brussels.The studio is beautifully designed, the standard of cleanliness high and the philosophy behind it authentic. Both the owners and other yoga teachers are highly professional and very friendly. There is a great variety of classes, meeting everyone's needs. Whether attending classes in the studio, live online or by recording from their library, it is an essential part of my life.
It's a wonderful experience to practice the Vinyasa flow, Hot flow, Hatha yoga, and the Pilates classes here. I've got a two weeks pass, but the possibilities are endless if you are looking for a short - or long-term solution to practice the classes. Simply recommend
I'm about 3 weeks into the new student discovery month unlimited and still love coming to this studio. Every teacher is a little different so im sure you can find something that you like, but what I really have appreciated is the overall studio operations. The space is always relaxing, has beautiful scents of essential oils, and there is always hot tea waiting for you before or after your class. If you have a busy day you can rent a mat bundle for just 6eur which includes everything you would need mat, towel mat, shower towel, and water!. Before class you can go into the room and start your meditation or stretching, as other students are respectful, working in quiet and no cell phones in the room- big plus.
