Helping each other through the WWOOF exchange: Volunteers (or WWOOFers as they are affectionately known) offer their time and physical input for Hosts knowledge, food and board. WWOOFers fun and laughter for Hosts real family cultural experience. The more you are willing to share the more you will get back from the WWOOF experience.
WWOOFers live with families and get hands-on experience with organic farming, permaculture, biodynamics, earth building, cooking, crafts, wine, cheese and bread making, alternative energy....
Hosts appreciate having help with projects on their land and sharing their lifestyles with others.
WWOOF is a enjoyable, educational and sustainable way to travel and get to know the local people. You gain an intercultural experience that promotes understanding and tolerance. WWOOFers comment they like to give something back to the country they are travelling in.
