What a dope spot. I was visiting the country/city and saw they had a soul music night. Ended up being a totally different demographic age wise than in the states, but hey that’s why we travel. 4 stars cuz I fell down. Jk. 5 stars for just sitting outside and watching the port ships come in and out.
Attended a gig for the first time at Wunderbar and the view over the Port is amazing! You have to see for yourself Such perfect timing to be able to watch the sunset, atmosphere of the place was welcoming and people were great. Staff are inviting and service was lovely. It is a little small specially if your holding a gig with only one toilet and small separate closed in room that couldn't hold everyone attending. But the balcony was perfect for getting fresh air, star gazing and a pool table to enjoy a few games. Overall a lovely bar to visit
What an awesome place to visit. I admit I get a bit breathless after walking the flight of stairs to get there but its well worth it. The cocktails they make are divine, as is the view and atmosphere.
Awesome night out. Soulful and warm. Had a great chat with the fashionable and sassy barmaid, who oozes class and fashion. She's definitely a cool chick to chat with.
This place is just magic, very peculiar decoration and staffs are very friendly. For me is a must everytime I have the chance to go to Christchurch. Highly recommended
