I had a really disappointing experience yesterday. I was charged $17.90 for a hot chicken and thought the price was incorrect, so I asked staff at self-checkout for help. I was told to go check again, which I did, and even took a photo as proof. When I returned, I was told there were different prices listed on a small piece of paper in the corner of the hot shelves, not clearly visible. The staff member laughed while dismissing me, which made me feel embarrassed and not taken seriously.nnI decided not to argue, but when I went back to pay, my chicken had been put back without my consent, so I had to walk all the way back to get it again. I could hear staff laughing, and the whole situation made me feel mocked.nnAs an Asian woman, the way I was spoken to and treated made me feel judged and disrespected. No customer should feel belittled or treated unfairly when simply asking for help. I hope the team reflects on this experience and improves their customer service and awareness.

Countdown offers pickup from store and very recently, lockers or delivery. Has a interal pharmacy for convenience and seem to retain staff well with familiar faces at each visit. The store is always generally clean and well presented, definitely my regular super market. The 1 star missing goes to having had issues like getting expired eggs in my pick up order along with other seemling simple mistakes, things I need weekly or twice weekly out of stock on a regular basis, the plastic wrapped vegetables and fruit and the prices being only just acceptable. More loyalty to regular customers with prices and tailoring above and beyond experiences would go a long way. Recently I have started venturing to New World and Pak n Save to get specials on certain things like nappies and wipes. The App Grocer helps here. Look forward to seeing the new bulk bin area and encourage the supermarket to get a bin for soft plastic returns.

Since Herbert Adams Australia website doesn't allow google reviews, I thought the next best place would be their NZ outlet.nAs shown in the pic. bugger all beef and even less flavour;even though they're on special, such deceptive advertising comes back to the vendor's responsibility!nWoolworths Victoria Ave is OK but certainly won't buy that again.

Always shop here. Staff are conscientious and patient will customers who require more help. Easy to find products

Very disappointed at the deli. Being lead up to Xmas i went shopping there especially for sliced ham off the bone , . They had nothing and when I asked about this at the service desk the staff just stood there chatting to each other with their backs to me , felt like their chats were more important than customer service. This time of year especially more than ever I would expect their deli to be fully stocked with an array of lovely items ,nWent across the road to paknsave and found their deli to be fully stocked and was able to get what I needed ,nWon't be going back to woolworths victoria Ave whanganui anytime soon !
