Countdown offers pickup from store and very recently, lockers or delivery. Has a interal pharmacy for convenience and seem to retain staff well with familiar faces at each visit. The store is always generally clean and well presented, definitely my regular super market. The 1 star missing goes to having had issues like getting expired eggs in my pick up order along with other seemling simple mistakes, things I need weekly or twice weekly out of stock on a regular basis, the plastic wrapped vegetables and fruit and the prices being only just acceptable. More loyalty to regular customers with prices and tailoring above and beyond experiences would go a long way. Recently I have started venturing to New World and Pak n Save to get specials on certain things like nappies and wipes. The App Grocer helps here. Look forward to seeing the new bulk bin area and encourage the supermarket to get a bin for soft plastic returns.

Rude staff, shopping with family and young kid in the evening and stopped by a lady who told us not allowed to buy too many and said only 3 items each product allowed. I questioned the rule and been told “if you’re not happy you can leave and not shop here.” No need for this kind of attitude as was just asking for clarification, we have bought couple of full trolleys in another woolworth recently and wasn’t treated like this… maybe it was close to their shut time so just want to kick us out to save the hassle or simply being racist… i reckon if there’s terms and conditions around this then it should be transparent and clear. Like how New World stated limit number for promotion products or else just let people buy whatever they want like Pak n Save. Changing a brand name is not going help with your business if you keep this attitude towards customers… definitely not going back this supermarket ever again…

Several items didn't have prices. Asked staff member price of pavlovas and Xmas cake but told not his department.

Purchased a food item from their freezer section which gave me severe food poisoning. I followed all food storage and preparation steps as per instructions. Hospitalised, two weeks off of work, notified the business and the store as soon as possible and was promised every time I had to initiate communication that someone would follow up/call me back, it’s now been six months of chasing and there has been no accountability.

Il change to 5 stars if I can have the light up Countdown sign when you rebrand
