Jody I think her name is Blue hair, Short She is absolutely rude. Takes her time talking to co workers who are busy working unlike her. She walks around after the staff have rang the bell for the alcohol check a few times Annoys me as when it is busy she stands next to a checkout that is free doing absolutely nothing but look. Other than her staff are friendly. I hope you are all getting paid what you are worth Thank you for working hard!!
Right across from my hotel, Countdown is one of New Zealand's larger supermarket chains. This is a full service grocery store and I had no problem putting together a few things for dinner this evening. If anything, I was spoiled for choice. I ended up with some frozen and some fresh, getting some samosa from the deli department and some other stuff from the freezer.nnWater, soda, beer, produce, meats, fish. It's all here. A large walk-in beer cooler has cold beer and cider.nnCheckout was easy and because I had forgotten to bring a reusable shopping bag, I now have a green Countdown bag for my collection.
Good location of the supermarket on the Middle Renwick Road with a large car park. Wheelchair people are welcome too because the shop is wide. Next door you can find easilynthe pharmacy, post office and Photoprint.
Small car park with big potholes. Inside of store smells like dirty feet. No self serve checkouts
The staff are aways asking how you are and how your day has been even at the end of there shift great work
