Nice big supermarket filled with everyday essentials, fresh vegetables and beautifully baked breads, scrolls, sweet treats etc. The baps here are by far the best I've had here in NZ or abroad. The friendly staff are always happy to help with any queries or help to find products. I will definitely be stopping here everytime I drive through town, especially for the baps.
Did my shopping at countdown Levin tonight 2/5/26. MANGO'S ON SPECIAL @ $3.50ea.nThe box was almost empty, just 3 left. I brought 2.nAt the checkout I was charged a staggering $5.89 ea. Unbelievable!nI proceeded to help desk for a refund, the girls weren't receptive to being asked for a refund.nSHAME on Countdown for FALSE advertising.nHow many people got conned?nDissatisfied & Disappointed shopper.
Under huge refurbishment at the moment which is going to look amazing when complete. Just hard to find things at the moment. Great location as you are leaving town.
Great specials, a broad selection and brand choice, and helpful, considerate staff to boot; You can even have your postal service redirect y5 packages to WW Help-Desk - Great!
Overpriced but much more friendly than Palmerston North stores.And of course they make too much money so do not bother to reply to bad feedback as do not care as we all need food so eventually we will come back in lol.
