Well stocked. Friendly helpful staff. Found everything we needed while travelling.
Shopped here during my stay in Greymouth. The veggies selection was small, the fruits were very expensive and the selection was very limited though the meat department was vaste.nBought snacks and water for the train trip since this is the only place that was opened late.nHeard from locals that this location is rather popular. It is very convenient next to the train and bus station for non residents also.
The store boasts a wide array of merchandise, a clear and concise layout, and ample lighting. The discounts on offer are generous, and the frozen section offers a diverse selection of food items. The staff members are generally friendly, and parking in the vicinity is plentiful. It seems that the store is never overly crowded during my visits.
A good sized modern supermarket situated close to the rail line I to Greymouth. The car park is ample and access to the store is good. Was looking for croissants on the day before Christmas, and found a 10 pack of croissants here. Just what we needed.
The location of this supermarket means that it is a pig to get into whether on foot or by car and when you get there the fruit and vege selection is miserable. No bananas or mandarins and what they did have is expensive. And if that wasn’t bad enough their bakery was worse. No bread rolls, scones, chelsea or iced buns, just packets of muffins full of preservatives. Go to New World, if they aren’t better at least they are easy to get to.
