Wine Country Creations was established in 2010 and is located in beautiful Wanaka, New Zealand. Our creations are made in our home based workshop in Wanaka and we enjoy creating a local product that people love to buy for them selves or as gifts for others. Our products have made there way into homes all around New Zealand but have also managed to find their way into homes around the globe. We are passionate about our product because it is locally sourced and recycled with a Central Otago influence. We make a range of platters, candelabras and barrel furniture. All products are designed and hand made by us, not one item is the same as the other, each product has it’s own little characteristics whether it be from the cooper brand or the wine maker markings or varied shades of wine stains and rustic imperfections in the oak caused through the wine making process. They are made from French Oak wine barrels, which we source from local Central Otago wineries. The barrels are recycled and have had Central Pinot Noir made in them, the Pinot Noir stain can be clearly seen in varied degrees of shades of red. We specialise in platters and candelabras but also create indoor and outdoor furniture, planters and firewood barrels when barrel supply allows. All products are tagged with a Central Otago antique tag that complements the products and reinforces the Central Otago province.
