We were looking for a spot for our camper with electric. Got a beautiful spot on the lake. Extended our stay to 3 nights. Facilities are good. Site is quiet. Very reasonably priced. Staff are helpful. It's convenient for local attractions and its lovely to wake up to watch the ducks and swans!
Fabulous stay here. A million dollar view for under $20 pp a night. Right on the lake edge in our motorhome. Greats hosts, Helen and Charlie. Our wee dogs enjoyed it too. Altho the camp has been around for a long time, all amenities are so clean and tidy. We highly recommend the beautiful spot. Thank you.
We had a million dollar view for under $20 pp a night, in our motorhome. Three nights on the edge of the lake. Absolutely fabulous. Our friends in their motorhome beside us, added to a marvelous weekend. Able to have our 2 small doggies, and they, their new kitten, we all enjoyed our stay at Willowbank. Of course the Park is old, I can hear people saying!! So am I. However, we could not fault the very clean amenities and the care taken all round, to make our lakeside holiday perfect. Thank you Helen and Charlie. We will be back.
What a great place to stay! We booked a cabin for 3 of us for one night while we were in Rotorua for the six60 concert. Really friendly staff on reception and we were pleasently suprised about the price for the cabin, was $110 alltogether. Cabin was spacey, with double bed and a single in one room with an ensuite. Then in kitchen/lounge another single bed, table, chairs and couch. There was plenty of parking spaces in front of all the cabins. Cabin was very clean throughout was great, furniture was in good condition just a little old. The showers, toilets and kitchen for the whole campground were so clean and well equipped. Showers also arent coin operated and have great pressure. Only 12mins to central Rotorua. We felt very safe in the campground and suburb, compared to the CBD as its a lot more mixed.
Great campground with fantastic host! I was parked lake front which was awesome especially for such an affordable price. There is a kitchen and hot showers on site!
We absolutely love this place. Boys played all day with other kids. Such a nice place.
Very comfortable, affordable, clean and tidy accommodation in a peaceful spot by the lake. Only minutes from Rotorua. A great place for a getaway.

Really nice spot overlooking the lake, good spacious shower/toilet block and a fully stocked kitchen with large fridge/freezer, added bonus is the staff are super friendly
As lakeside as you can get with camping or chalet options for accommodation. Free wifi. Boat ramp next door and close to shops with Ngongotaha a short drive away. Lovely spot by the lake. Playground for children and bbq areas. Secured entry to the grounds.
