Excellent food. The meat was well-cooked and the side dishes were very delicious. I enjoyed that there were a variety of dishes presented to my table. Sophisticated interior design. The place looked very pristine and of high quality. It was my Mother’s birthday and we decided to go to Wildfire for the first time and I’d say that I would definitely go there again with some friends. The waitresses and waiters were very welcoming and are exceptional. The hospitality at Wildfire is indeed excellent. As I have previously stated, I would eat at Wildfire again when given the chance to.
I can not rate this place highly enough. Went for a work Christmas party last night and had no idea what to expect. Simply amazing, so tasty, impeccable service. Even though there were several large groups, we didn't go without, we were served promptly and they catered so well to the person in our party with multiple allergies. The restaurant was so upmarket and flash, the decor tasteful. Will definitely be going back.
This one's for the memory box! Perfect scores all round, no questions asked! One of the best experiences in Wellington so far and highly recommend Wildfire for any occasion. I know it's hard sacrificing Christmas for work, let alone delivering 5 star services! Dietary restrictions: There was sufficient and appropriate substitutions for our dietary requirements - there was no love lost, and we didn't feel like we've missed any bit of the experience.
Unforgettable dining experience! If you visit Wildfire, you should try the Cocktails & Mocktail! It is a piece of art and perfect compliment to meat. When you finish your main, don’t miss the cute dessert. Overall, the meat, drink, dessert every course was amazing
Awesome experience. First time, was only by chance we stopped here for dinner. Walked in and was greeted kindly. Had no reservation but was offered a table. Food was next level, service was top notch. I hardly ever tip but for this night I did cos we were looked after greatfuly. Will return with a few more people next time.
The service was excellent, my sister and I had a great meal here, thank you! The food is an all you can eat buffet of meat. The buffet is brought to your table in rounds. Different meats are brought up and gets sliced right there to your plate. This doesn't stop until you flip the red/green tumbler. Red pauses the onslaught of meat service. Flipping it back to green resumes the meat deliveries. The meat was cooked well, offering some well done options, and rarer options for my personal taste too. There is some variety in the food options: °Standard: mains meat only. 69NZD °Standard w desert: as above but a desert platter is offered pictures the cart. 90?NZD °Premium: starters have prawns, an oyster and some other light starter bits. Everything in prior tiers too. Circa 109?NZD. I asked for a keto dietary meal, the servers were so kind and thoughtful as they explained each dish item and it's keto friendly attributes. Not all keto is equal, this is a 'dirty keto' option, but an extremely worth it experience.
Went to Wildfire on Tory St in Wellington this weekend with our coeliac 5yo. When told about her dietary requirement, they went above and beyond! They made a safe starting platter and a platter of a range of sides, just for her! She was living her best life. They also came out to speak to her and tell us what was in each item and treated her like a princess. We have never been hosted so well 100/100 would recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this unique dining experience, the food was high quality and really good flavour. We went with a big groups and it was a very good night out. You will definitely not leave hungry that's for sure. Thanks for a great night @wildfire staff.Food: 5/5
You're paying mostly for the "rotational style service" experience as it is rather expensive and you could get similar food cheaper at other restaurants. That being said, the lamb and pork were very tender and the calamari was spot-on. Sirloin was mediocre and the rump was too dry. Staff were welcoming and professional; we were charged for the sparkling water and the waiter had not told us the extra charge when choosing between "tap or sparkling", but that is somewhat my fault as it should be expected from such a sophisticated atmosphere. Worth coming once for the experience, then proceed to decide whether it is worth going again.
