Great menu choices , serve and ambiance. Great coffee to add to a preferred Whakatane breakfast, brunch or lunch cafe.
The food is as delicious as ever. I recommend the Grilled Pineapple Cuban Salad. Very flavoursome and very filling.
Nice kai. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Team let down by slow service clearing tables upstairs. We saw 3 sets of diners move the previous customers' mess to a vacant table. Didn't see any tables get wiped down while we were there.

Always a good place to go for brunch. Coffee is good and the food is delicious, always consistent. A nice atmosphere. Would recommend white island Cafe.

Absolutely lovely cafe - outgoing , accomodating-staff in blue and white t shirts, superb looking food though a scone and quiche not outstanding - mushroom chicken pastie and salad and coffee were excellent.
