I loved this place! At 2pm in the afternoon, there was barely anyone around. I had a nice beer whilst seated on a very comfy sofa and working on my laptop. The barman, Andrea, was very polite and welcoming and most importantly for me engaged in conversation so I felt like a welcomed customer. I can't afford places like this on a regular basis but if I ever want to treat myself or meet up with friends in a location with style and class, this is top of my list.
Simpson's fine anti bar before the Great Dinning Room... Half a dozen Oysters, glass of Chablis... And your pretty much set.. Staff incredibly helpful, marvellous location and decor... First class in every detail.... And details count... Very highly recommended ®
Hidden gem on the Strand, British elegance, must visit for a drink or two in an upscale but comfy setting.
