White House Wanaka

The White House is by far our favourite restaurant in Wanaka. It's cosy, quirky and full of old charm. The dishes are brilliant. They cleverly combine good quality, simple ingredients to make meals that are packed with flavour. If you haven't been there, you're missing out.

Wanaka won’t be the same without this place! If you get a chance before they close - go! The food is amazing no matter what you order.

Great food and amazing ambiance. This small eclectic restaurant has an excellent local wine, beer and spirits list. The Mediterranean food tasty and interesting in addition to being expertly prepared and plated

Lovely service and yummy food. We all ended up having the lamb rump and will try to recreate at home. Low key and relaxed atmosphere...went 20 years ago...and absolutely no changes.

Was left underwhelmed last night when usually am definitely overwhelmed by the quality of the food. Usually get a plateful of several salads this time just the one. The steak was massive, however tough and almost raw which would have been ok if ordering rare. Usually happy to pay $45 for my meal, last night not so.

Pete.. you run a great joint.. with staff who know what they are talking about.. their recommendations were superb... And I love the atmosphere.. it gets me every time.

Best restaurant in Wanaka in my opinion. Great menu with fresh daily specials. Amazing wine selection and the host is just as unique and pleasant as the menu.
