Amazing coffee, smoothie and toasties. Epic intro to Westport still need to have a proper geez at the art! Lovely outdoor area too
What a fabulous little cafe. We were passing through Westport on our way to Nelson, but without wifi and an inability to look up 'best coffee', we asked in a random store as to where we go. Luckily, a customer in the store recommended Whanake. We walked in thinking it was small, but it opened up out the back to a comfortable sitting area. To top it off, we got to choose our cups for our coffee not takeaway. The coffee was really good and a little gluten free treat was lovely. Highly recommend this if you're in Westport.

The slices were divine, they welcomed vegans and most cafes here don't want to know us, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. What else does one need? It was a lovely experience.
Didn’t expect to find anything this cool in Westport. Coffee was great, the gluten free ginger slice was a nice surprise. Really nice little garden outside and cool to see the art and photography displayed, and the staff were really lovely.
