The Wet Jacket brand is a unique concept reverencing the history of farming in Central Otago and celebrating the modern wine industry of today.

Story

Wet Jacket wines are found completely at home in our Woolshed. Open from 11am - 5pm every day of the year (except for the obligatory public holidays) there isn't a more unique Central Otago wine experience in the region.

Whether you wish sample some of our exquisite wines, chat with us about the region and its history, or step back in time to explore a real working Woolshed from over 150 years ago, there is something to spark the interest in all of us.

Come and taste the full Wet Jacket wine range in a relaxed environment, with exceptionally personal touches. With no tours or large groups to compete with, this is the best place to begin your Central Otago wine journey, right at the beginning of the Gibbston Wine Trail, just after Lake Hayes.

Also there are very few places you can actually see Wet Jacket in its natural habitat, only being available for purchase or consumption at our Cellar Door or in an elite handful of New Zealand's best restaurants.
