Have waited in a queue for over 40mins.nOnly 2 staff....nThis seems to always be an issue at every Westpac branch these days.nWestpac used to be such great service years ago, it has so gone down.nHire more branch staff!!!
Went into the branch to organise term deposit for a large sum of money. Was told 2-3 weeks to open account. Walked in to another bank who were more than happy to help.

Manager and staff treated us with no respect. The issue was we had no job and no income. Open account online with full ID but they closed the account as we did not have a big enough income. Hello COVID not everyone was lucky enough to keep or have a job. So my husband of 15 years was unable to even open a joint account with me. I will be taking my own banking elsewhere as this branch only wants you if rich or as they said when you get a job we will open an account for you. Poor service with no care for community. Treat people equally. The staff must suffer each day as having her as a manager, no a good experience. Please never bank with Westpac as they treat you like a number and worse if you don’t have a job. She should lose her job with the way she treats people, she is probably bang ing the area manager to keep it.
Went to open a bank account for a blind man, we were racially profiled as soon as we entered, by lady standing in the entrance. Asked if we had relevant I'd, and also if an income would be going into account. Then told we would need 3 months bank statements with proof of income before we could open an account. I have never been asked this before, I currently bank with westpac greerton, and never have they treated me this way. The lady wasn't even worried that we stated we would go elsewhere. Poor customer service!!
